Tipparaju Surendra, I was born and brought up in Hyderabad and have always been a techno curious at heart from school days. After my schooling at Nrupatunga High School in Kachiguda, I pursued engineering from Osmania University and post-graduation in Master of Engineering from BITS, Pilani. Subsequently completed my Master of Business Administration from IIM, Kolkotta during my professional career

I started my professional career in information technology and got the opportunity to lead many teams for major enterprises across the world and gain global outlook. After working for 12 years across various countries like Japan, Europe and USA, I returned to India in 2007 and joined Microsoft India Ltd. Currently I am heading Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) group at Microsoft. In my role I get to work with some of the best talents in this industry, solving some of the most complex customer problems using technology and AI.

I clearly see that human + machine combination can unlock unlimited potential to shape the future. My core passion today is to bring technology and people together by engaging actively in various forums. Through these connections, will try to play sometimes as a contributor, sometimes as a mentor or even a critic, to make the outcome better than what it is destined.

Family brings lot of strength, my wife Madhuri is a multi faceted personality with a career in IT, home maker, motivator and is always dependable. We are blessed with two wonderful kids, my daughter Neha, she is pursuing MBBS at Kamineni Institute of Medical Science, and my son Raghuvamshi is student of engineering at BITS, Pilani

Outside Microsoft, I volunteer for various institutions to carry out learning and sharing goals. Presently holding the role of Vice Chair for IEEE, Technology and Engineering Management (TEMS), Hyderabad. I am also on the advisory board for Soham Academy of Human Excellence, which is working for children in building holistic skills through education, yoga and technology.
